The Kitchen
Location
The boutique kitchen is located on the ground floor, through the door on the right hand side, from the hallway, as you enter the front door. It is a new kitchen installed early 2024 and is well equipped with various cutlery, dishes/plates/bowels, pots and pans etc.
It is a modern take on a country style kitchen, fitting with the house and features decorative embossed fruits in some of the tiles. All of the presses are soft-close and it has a lovely period style tap and enamel sink unit.
There is a large 6 person dining table located across the hall in the front room.
Cooking
The cooker is a modern glass top, digital 4 ring electric unit. It also has an oven and grill below. An extractor fan is located above, which uses charcoal filters (changed regularly).
Microwave
The kitchen also has an easy use microwave cooker, for those who don't want to wait for their meals to be cooked the traditional way!
Fridge Freezer
A freestanding fridge-freezer is located to the right hand side as you enter the cooker.
A note about fire safety in the Kitchen
The kitchen is equipped with two fire-extinguishers and a fire blanket, which are located in the left hand corner, behind the door, on top of the counter. They are clearly marked with signage. More about fire safety and Kitchen rules below. There are several other fire extinguishers located in the house, two on each of the three main landings.
The house also has wired-in fire alarm and emergency lighting. The front door of the house is the main fire exit, although the middle floor windows are also considered fire exists to the front of the house, as these open fully. There is also a first aid kit located in the kitchen.

VERY IMPORTANT: the entire house, including bedrooms is STRICTLY non-smoking and non-vaping. We also do not allow the use of candles or any naked flames, including including incense in the house. Smoking detectors are located in the house, including rooms and bathroom etc.
Strictly No Pets allowed
Although we love animals personally, we cannot allow pet in the house, regardless of species or size.
Besides the obvious for potential damage to the house, or smell. the house is not suitable for pets in that it does not have a garden and it open onto a busy road. We also have had some very bad experiences in the past with pets in a rented house. We are adamant that NO PETS of any kind are allowed into our house.
