Although One Allen  Street is listed on Airbnb website and one or two other third party booking sites, if a guest books directly with us by phone or email, chances are we can give guests a better deal directly. This is because Airbnb and similar sites charge us a not so small percentage service charge for listing with them, which ultimately has to be passed on to the customer. Because we are registered as a commercial business and not a private ownership, we have to also charge VAT where applicable by law. 

****We have a minimum three nights stay booking requirement and welcome longer holiday or business stays.

Again, the cost to the customer can be more appealing if they book their stay directly with us. It is also possible we can do good deals for longer stays.

As is normal, the nightly fees vary dependent  on the time of year or if there is a (high demand) festival or event on in the town, such as the Opera Season or music festival including the Fleadh Ceol etc.

We do our best to accommodate our guests as much as we can within reason, to make their stay as cost-effective and enjoyable as possible.  

Note: presently the entire house is rented per night to one party, with a maximum of six people, that is two people per bedroom. A fourth bedroom is possible, one which we use ourselves when we stay down there, but we still will limit the amount of people to six or less per stay, for various reasons including insurance. For example, it’s possible to have one person per room x four bedrooms. 

The main reason we rent a whole house out in its entirety to one group is that currently there is only one shared bathroom. However, in the near future, we have plans to add two en-suites.
